DIRECTOR - HOSPITALITY & EVENTS

The Dover George Luxury Boutique Hotel + Knox Hall Weddings & Events | Port Dover, ON

THE DOVER GEORGE & KNOX HALL

Where the details are not the details… They make the design.

WHO IS GEORGE?

The Dover George the Flagship property of the Port Dover Collection; a design centric and detail obsessed new hospitality company committed to bringing luxury accommodations, events and culinary experiences to one of the last truly undiscovered corners of Southwest Ontario. Located on the shores of Lake Erie in Port Dover, The Dover George is Norfolk County’s first and only luxury boutique hotel & culinary event centre.

What started mid-2023 with the opening of a micro boutique hotel continues to expand right next door with the soon to launch Knox Hall. A hosting destination we plan to develop into the area’s premiere venue for curated gastronomic and design driven weddings and events.

WHO IS GEORGE LOOKING FOR?

George is looking for a passionate, creative, ambitious and committed hospitality leader to join a small but growing team bent on making Norfolk County the next “it” destination for discerning luxury travellers and celebrants.

The Director of hospitality and events will collaborate closely with ownership as a strategic business lead to help define, develop and grow the Port Dover Collection’s hospitality, food & beverage and event offering in both venues. Our ideal candidate will live for every detail of a truly exceptional guest experience, breathe all things food & beverage and love all things design. They will direct that passion and creativity, along with their hospitality management experience, towards building out the Port Dover Collection’s offering in order to maximize bookings and drive revenue.

George needs someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who, when needed, is as comfortable championing the brand, building relationships or closing a big sale, as they are acting as concierge for a demanding guest or getting down in the trenches to make sure every last guest experience is flawless.
